The book and classic Disney movie "Alice in Wonderland" is a classic in so many respects.
My family home is around the corner from the birthplace of Charles Dodgeson (Lewis Carrol) based on a tall tale told on the Isis to the Other Alice. The tale he told to Alice and her sisters became a respected, world renowned book.

Red, yellow, black and brown are the colours of Gaston, I never really liked Gaston as a baddie. I know you're not meant to like them but I find him arrogant and repulsive, no woman should be owned by a man like he wants Belle!

Classy evening out

This is quite possibly the best item I've ever seen from 22769, the detailing on the Chinese silk styling is absolutely stunning and the mesh falls perfectly. The dress is for 11am at Fair

I bought these shoes from the *G Field* hallowe'en sale (orange and black items half off) for 100L and they come with a touch menu which changes the buckle, strap styles and sole colour. For not being mesh they are rather nifty and can be adapted for any outfit.

Bring on the orange

I've never celebrated Hallowe'en in real life, never been trick or treating and I've never been to a Hallowe'en party.
But I absolutely adore this cute dress and boots set by *G Field* I don't think I'll take this off for a long time

I love the cutesy Peter Pan collar and the design is flawless, possibly my favourite mesh piece ever

I'm wearing the exile hair again, in honesty I didn't really like it at first but I've teamed it with MONS eyeliner which gives it a Dusty Springfield feel to it.
The bow comes with the FREE outfit

And the shoesssssss!!! I have these boots in brown and pink and the hallowe'en versions are amazing, I think the spider hanging from the cuff is a special touch!

The shoes aren't free but are really reasonably priced, under 100L (apologies, when trying to find out how much SL crashed on me!)

Shades of Blue

*G Field*'s group gift got released today and it's the lovely pale blue romper suit, I adore anything with spots and this romper is perfect! The inside is textured too so it can be used in more poses and I love the softness of the bow that hangs so naturally down drom the chest.

I did say I'd pick up Wasabi Pills' other contribution for FLF!

On Location, Store Project #3 visits Week 13

I sat down to blog last Sunday, wondering what colour of Tea Green I could pick out of my inventory, at that moment my fiance ran in the house asking for the number for the local police. It turns out whilst he'd been walking the dog he was chatting on the phone to his mum and some boys cycled past, grabbed his phone (and eye) and stole his phone. Understandably we were all quite shaken up by this and add this along side my dissertation, 4 other essays and depression and our heads just spiralled.
So this is late...

I put this 52 WoCC along side another On Location, this week I visted Lindsay Pinelli's store "Little House of Curios" after she mentioned having a waterfall on Plurk! Little House of Curios sells little bits and bobs of cute, low prim, superbly made furniture!
I loved the decor outside, the flowers surrounding the trees are so simple and quaint, they worked really well with my early spring/summer look that I put together!

I really should've got a picture of the waterfall but here's a close up of Saff about to take a dive!

On Location, Store Project #2 & Week 12

Another on Location post which I've mixed with the 52 weeks of Colour Challenge, this week's colour is St. Patrick's Blue (take your pick between my jacket or skirt!)

I've chosen the Dressing Room and the Dressing Room Blue for my location this week, I think there's something very classy about a landscape that epitomises spring, though it looks very simple I love the quirky trees and the houses colours are very fresh.

On Location, Store Project #1

For a while now I've been saying I will start blogging store locations, some stores in SL are beautiful, either in scenery or design, and aren't often appreciated, usually you land, you shop, you go home.

So every now and again I'm gonna take the time to blog a location.

Today it's Sleeping Koala, I'm not sure if it's false advertising by blogging a location but not blogging their clothes.... but I have blogged Sleeping Koala many a time, maybe that will be my rules, only blog a location I've blogged clothes for

A Dandy Week (9)!

Let me just get your faces and rub it in it for a moment, I'm just reaching the end of a 5 day weekend! And let me just say: Thursday was GLORIOUS! For winter weather it hit 15-17 degrees celsius and I went out in some lovely summer wear!
So as week 9's colour for the 52 weeks of colour challenge was Dandelion I decided, stuff winter let's hurry to springs and summers!!

My lovely new skirt!

This morning was wonderful, usually when the owls flock through the roof of the great hall one never usually lands in front of Saffie, tearing open the parcel that had landed in front of her she found a great pile of pink silk with lots of oomph and fluff to give it shape, holding it up to see she saw a beautiful skirt and out fell a note

"Something to wear for the Valentine's Ball maybe?

Hurridly she finished her toast and gulped her tea and took full pelt up to the female dorms in Ravenclaw tower. Shimmying her dull school skirt down she hitched the beautiful mixture of pink silk and taffeta over her hips, it fit perfectly, mother was always good at sewing. Unfortuately there were no full mirrors in Ravenclaw tower and Saffie decided she couldn't risk an accio charm to summon one for fear of it breaking so instead she spun around, watching as the fabric billowed out around her.

Unfortunately spinning for too long can make one fairly dizzy so with a heavy head that still spun she replaced the beautiful skirt with her school skirt

and ran to the little witches room to have a look at the earrings she had found that morning at the bottom of her trunk, mother always packed little bits and bobs, she said it was to glam up her uniform but saffie really knew mother wanted her to make friends and maybe the glitz would attract her some attention.

Smiling faintly at her reflection she decided that yes the earrings, though mismatched, did look good and then realised she was late for divinations and ran!
