On Safari

coldLogic has some new releases and I loved this dress so much, it had a great safari theme to it and when I found the earrings from Ozzie's at The Dressing Room Fusion they were perfect.

Unbeknownst to me the theme for this rounds collabor88  is Safari which was perfect when I found some cheap shoes from my new favourite Pure Poison!

In the past I never stuck to one skin maker, I would always find free or cheap skins that I liekd and would wear whatever I felt would suit the day. However, since someone told me about The Skinnery I seem to have stuck with them for nearly 2 years so imagine my delight when I got a notice saying two skins were being retired and so discounted at 150L each. Even better when I found out that one of the skins is my favourite "Iris" which I had grabbed a few from The Arcade

I really love the lips and the nose on this skin because I do find it difficult to find a skin that suits my nose!

Spring Flowers

Like this bikini that I'm wearing as a bralet from Adore and Abhor, the pattern is so bold and fashionable right now, I teamed it with Tee*fy's skirt that they have out now for Fifty Linden Friday

This beautiful statement necklace and earrings set is by Maxi Gossamer from last year's The Accessories Hunt, I'm not sure if it's still available but I think they were selling it with different colour variations.

Red, White and Blue me away!

This extended weekend has seen the whole of the UK and I'd say th majority of the commonwealth celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth the Second. The celebrations are ongoing for the next two days and it's amazing to see so many communities come together.

I threw a garden party at my house on Friday (see more pictures here) and wore this and had an awesome time! It's lovely to feel less isolated from the SL community when you just sail along never realising how alone you can be in such a huuuuge world!

I am loving the pose that aDORKable has set out for free, aimed at bloggers well.... the pictures say it all!

New! Gorgeous bangles from 22769 for The Silk Road Hunt; another gorgeous release from my two favourite guys on SL, the jewellery is well textures and hangs well on the wrist. And a dress from la petite morte for 50L, it's one of a collection of colours all 50L each and I love the ruched effect! thankfully my boobs are small so fit the XS quite well and I love the length!

Tinting feet... nailed it! my feet are from Gaeline Creations for 380L. They are gorgeous, you can change the skin tone, nails, nail design and tattoos, only problem is you can't enter the RGB values to the HUD but it is relatively easy to use as it has lots of presets that you can choose from and then alter the + or - of the red green and blue values. Fiddly but very good and well made feet!

Addicted to hair! New hair from elikatira (return) for 250L. Gorgeous and mesh it has a HUD to change the hair.

Watching the sun set

The beautiful day was ending and after lounging in the sun she paddled into the shallows to watch the sun dip it's fiery head below the waves

I love the dress by 22769, it hangs so perfectly off the hips and I'm sure it would look awesome with some skinny jeans or leggings as day wear!
I hope it's available in other colours and the striped pattern reminds me of the union flag (hint hint!)

Dressy on a cold day...?

Pink wasn't usually her colour of choice... Ravenclaw blue was what she was proud of whereas pink was the colour of prissy, simpering girls from houses that cared. But this dress was well worth a squeal or two in a high pitched manner

52 Weeks of Colour Challenge - Week 5

Another early morning in Hogwarts and the snow is still falling, so taking refuge in the warm Great Hall waiting for a hot breakfast. She toyed with the idea of wearing her new earrings to class this morning though she sincerely doubted any Professor would notice she didn't want to risk losing them for being too ostentatious..
They were the colour of her aunt's roof back at home in Sheepy Magna... the copper roofing had lasted 6 generations with the lovely patina covering that developed years before any of her currently living family's birth and Nanny Rushby of her Father's Mother's side was well into her second century!

Sighing to herself, she took her earrings out and after stuffing them into her cloak pocket she summoned her normal earrings from her dormitory room and popped them in. Thankfully the arrival of food on the table before her distracted her from her wussiness of being unable to break the rules.... that is apart from the monseigneur... no one had yet found out about him..!

A bit o' 52 weeks and a bit o' H: YS

I've joined a new roleplay sim called Hogwarts: Your Story, it's based on the Harry Potter novels but 21 years on from the books. The sim is absolutely gorgeous and this is a quick picture of Ravenclaw tower with Saff being a member of Ravenclaw house. The sim is members only at the moment but The Alley Shoppes can be accessed by everyone for uniforms and the like!

So it's come to week 4 of the 52 weeks of colour challenge and this week's colour is iron, now Luna's iron is quite pale whereas I see iron being a dark silvery-grey
So my iron contribution is this tee-shirt dress and ma silvery school shoes!

Also, below, is one of my new weekend dresses as during the week and in classes at Hogwarts full uniform is required but I thought I'd go shopping for some tasteful dresses and some nice warm socks!
So Many Styles is having a sale so I thought I'd get some pretty outfits from there. I particularly adore the beautiful emerald dress, the ruffles and high neck make it less "sexed up" than most of the clothes on SL and hopefully make me look more like a 14 y/o!

Daily Dollarbie

I've discovered a new shop! It's Called Vinyl cafe and they do a daily dollarbie (lasting for 24 hours) so this lovely military jacket is todays daily dollarbie!

Now don't worry too much if you miss it because once the 24 hours is up a new dollarbie replaces it and this one will be available for 50L! As are all the past daily dollarbies!

One of those moods

Today I'm not very well so I shan't wax lyrical too much over the gorgeous finds I've located today for my Look of the Day!
I think we all know by now that The Sea Hole is one of my favourite shops and a notice came out pointing me towards Seraphim which is a blog with an inworld location. The Sea Hole has released some lovely dresses to the people of the in world Seraphim group!
I pretty much clicked everything they had and mishmashed it together. The rest of my outfit are from the sales on right now or cheapies I've grabbed!
