Meet the girls!

So I thought I'd try my hand at making shapes, I wanted to make different varieties but I really love curvy girls and thanks to Mesh standard sizing it's become much easier to dress and style curvy gals in styles without having to edit and resize prims!

So first say hello to Kitty, she's got a gorgeous hourglass shape with a sweet face and a quirky look about her (see below for styling credits)

Next we have Lana, with a slim, athletic shape while still retaining her curves she has a simple boyish body and a sultry face.

Finally, Lilly is possibly my favourite, she's a mixture of afro-carribean and latino, she works well with any shade of darker skin. She also has a lovely hourglass shape and a a sexy face!

What I don't do...!

So on a suggestion from Adorkable bloggers were given the challenge to do something out of the norm....
I think it's an unwritten fashion rule that you either choose cleavage or legs, not both, this tends to be my mantra in SL and RL and I doubt you'll find a picture of that unless I'm being fae!

Maybe it was the new smokes pouring from my hookah that made me do it... or maybe the lure of temptation but I decided that I would screw over the rules and wear this sexy dress cut low to lure the men and ridden high to well.... you know!

Snuggled by the hookah I took some deep puffs.. enough to make me drowsy as I slowly dropped off to sleep..

A Cafe and some coldLogic

Walking through the cold streets of Paris she stumbled upon a small cafe on a quaint street corner, rounded cups of coffee steamed on each table, as if the previous visitor had only just left them untouched, undrunk... the candle light flickered in an unfelt breeze and one chair slipped out from under the table as if inviting her to take a seat...

coldLogic is soon to be opened and within their subscribo this MESH dress (and two others in shades of grey) can be found. They're also holding a competition to showcase this gorgeous dress and with an added incentive the winner of the competition gets the ENTIRE first release set

52 Weeks of Colour Challenge - Week 2

Week 2 brings us coral, and in all honesty coral is one of my least favourite colours, it's up there with peach and brown. Originally I was going to use my favourite skin as it has a beautiful coral coloured lipstick to it, it's quaint, flawless and suptuous... then while trawling my inventory I found some nice blushers which added to the overall corally tone

I knew I owned one sweater which is coral in colour but saw someone else used it, call me sad but I wanted to do something that I hadn't seen someone else use (seeing after is fine but not before!)
I also debated using the lovely coral Hucci shoes I blogged a few days ago but thought that slightly cheeky

So what should I find when sorting my dresses into colour groups than this soft, summery coral dress (yes yes I know it's winter still!)

So I still used my fave skin and the blusher, read the credits for more details

Daily Dollarbie

I've discovered a new shop! It's Called Vinyl cafe and they do a daily dollarbie (lasting for 24 hours) so this lovely military jacket is todays daily dollarbie!

Now don't worry too much if you miss it because once the 24 hours is up a new dollarbie replaces it and this one will be available for 50L! As are all the past daily dollarbies!

The official blog is in the fashion blogs blog roll to the right of the screen so if I miss a dollarbie hopefully you won't!

Faux Fox Fur Kills?!

I love myself a little bit of Collabor88! I also love myself a bit of plurk so when I saw anya.ohmai's picture of what she was to release for collabor88's prom theme I fell in love. She had produced a really quaint set of fox stole's (like what you'd see in the 30's), I forgot all about them until I saw on plurk that people had been griefing the collabor88 creators for this and that and they'd decided to take on ohmai's "a little foxy"  set by accusing her of animal cruelty.

Some people really need to get a life and realise in SL all fox stoles are FAUX as it is pixels...

So I decided to strip of for a good cause, even in Winter I am a die hard Greenpeace supporter so I thought I'd take this opportunity to promote faux fur as it saves many furry cute little animal lives!

Now don't forget it is winter and Saff is enjoying being wrapped up warm

And in the nud it is FREEZING!!!

But it's all for a great cause!

One of those moods

Today I'm not very well so I shan't wax lyrical too much over the gorgeous finds I've located today for my Look of the Day!
I think we all know by now that The Sea Hole is one of my favourite shops and a notice came out pointing me towards Seraphim which is a blog with an inworld location. The Sea Hole has released some lovely dresses to the people of the in world Seraphim group!

Making History Horrible

Apologies to all my non-existent readers about my absence, I've moved back home after my wonderful boyfriend got a new job about 200 miles from me and packing and shifting 2 years worth of rubbish out of my childhood bedroom meant my laptop gathered a fine layer of dust while I slaved away!

I'm channelling my inner Victorian due to my slight obsession with Horrible Histories' Savage Songs!

And the fantastic socks are another new obsession thanks to Etoile! (plus my legs looked rather bare!)

And the shoes are my first experience of mesh!! so I'm rather proud of my little laptop surviving all this!

Welly Boots!

Welly Boots, Wellingtons, Galoshes, whatever you call them they're perfect for this time of year. The end of summer is that kind of "mid-season" where it's till warm but the weather is perfectly crap. I found these lovely Wellys at Duh! as usual at a lovely cheap price and teamed it with my nice summer gear before it gets relegated to the back of my wardrobe!

"New Release"

There is quite possibly nothing I HATE more than flicking on to Freebie blogs and falling in love with a beautiful skin/hair/outfit and then scrolling down to find that underneath it is described as a new release.
New Releases are NOT freebies/dollarbies but advertisements and I swore when I started fashion blogging on Saffron's Place that I would never succumb to advertising a new release....

Until now! Though I have a fantastic excuse: 1. someone bought an item from my Marketplace Store (Bubica Designs - Poses) and 2. The new release is from Duh!

Duh! Sells the most beautiful shoes at ridiculously low prices, I rarely go anywhere else to get shoes!

Boho Summer

Todays quirk

is taking on the 1930's post The Great War vibe
I don't know how accurate I am really seeing as if it weren't for the lovely lacey bra under that shirt Saffie would have her boobs out but we did the best we could.

What I love to do is find one gorgeous new piece of clothing and instead of making a nightmare mishmash by adding bog-standard modern jeans that hang from one's arse and some thigh high tacky black boots I have a fantastically pedantic moment and I have to find something new to go with it... this sort of explains why my inventory count has gone up and my balance has gone down... but hey ho, we look good in the process!
Come to think of it I do that often in real life too, my poor boyfriend when I move in will have a struggle finding a place to fit my extensive shoe and underwear collection! But that's beside the point!
