but you can't take Liverpool out of the girl!

When Skittles begged Truth Hawkes to give us a mesh rollers hairstyle he didn't disappoint! I've seen loads of great trailer trash, bed time and getting ready posts.
But the thing is, I grew up in the north-west of England, trained in-me-Liverpool-home and whenever I see rollers I just remember the chav-tastic, orange, scousebrowed (pronounced scaasebraaad) girls walking around Liverpool 1 (shopping area) in velour tracksuits and their hair in rollers!

So I really hope you like my take on this hair!

May has a beauty

coldLogic has given us a great spring/summer release.

Light and fresh colours with some great new styles. I've mixed up some of my favourites from the new release and wore the lovely new flats I picked up from Ingenue

I love the sisney sheer tops, there are some really cute details to it. The davar shorts are cute but I wish they had come in just one block colour (as you can see they all have black on the back, hmm)
The blue sling back from Ingenue are gorgeous, I don't know what I did before Slink feet!!

A colour splash

Sweaty palmed with a butterfly stomach all ready for a spring date

A splash of colour always makes a girl memorable!

I really love the new hair by spellbound, it comes in rigged and unrigged mesh, the rigged mesh comes with a colour change hair scarf however the rigged version wouldn't fit me unless my head was a stupid size - unsure how other people got around that. I'm obviously wearing the unrigged version and it is lovely but I was sad to miss out on the scarf

So I've gone a bit OTT with the mesh shoes that fit Slink!
I picked up some lovely cheap/free items so I've thrown together a very sexy secretarial look!

New skin, new shoes, new everything!
So since getting married I fell off the face of blogging, I'm going to try and be back!

I eventually caved and got myself some Slink medium feet. I already own Gos flats and Gos arched but so many shoes are Slink add-ons.
I really like the Slink feet because of the obvious - shoes - however Gos has quite an easy matching system whereas Slink you can mess with the RGB values or buy appliers.
I hate skin tinting so bought the Skinnery appliers which saved time but cost more money which is a bit meh!

Disneybound - Aurora

Two posts in one day, I know!!
Natalee said we could bound as the pink or blue Aurora so I went for both!!

Incidentally this was a nightmare to manipulate!
I wanted to emulate the explosion of colour that Flora and Merryweather created but I suppose I'll have to teach myself how to do it over time!

I also never change my hair colour for a Disneybound but this FLF item by olive was soooo perfect as it came in both colours!

I obviously originally wanted to post this on Friday when you could go and buy the hair but I was struggling with my Alice post and wanted them in order, bad Saffie!!

A philosophical start to the post. My best friend was married on July 12th and I wrote that quote inside their wedding card alongside a biblical quote on forgiveness.
You can't go back to yesterday but you can learn from the person you have become..

This post was sat for ages, logged in in blue and white and finding the perfect place took ages
I love the poses I eventually used, I got them at the free*style sim and they were deliciously cheap and worked perfectly
